A baby girl has miraculously been found alive after she was trapped beneath building rubble for 80 hours.

Rescuers found 6-month-old Dealeryn Saisi Wasike wrapped in a blanket inside a bucket among the ruins in Huruma, Kenya, on Tuesday, the Kenyan Red Cross reported.

Incredibly, Dealeryn was not injured.

"She appeared dehydrated, and with no visible physical injuries," the Red Cross said. "She was taken to the Kenyatta National Hospital by the Kenya Red Cross rescue vehicle, and is currently undergoing treatment."

She has been reunited with her father, but her mother was killed when the seven-story building collapsed last Friday.

At least 23 people died when the structure fell amid heavy rain. More than 130 injured people have been rescued from the ruins so far and many others are missing.

The owners of the building and nearly two dozen government officials were taken into custody following the collapse. The building did not have an occupancy permit and was set for demolition.
