Young Humpback Whale Found Dead on Virginia Beach

Spectators gathered at a beach in Virginia not to catch a tan but to see a dead whale pulled from the ocean. The Virginia Aquarium says it's the first dead whale it has seen this season. Experts say the mammal is a young female, no more than three years old. The aquarium says this whale hadn't eaten for a while, but it will be some time before experts know the exact cause of her death.
