Ahmaud Arbery’s Mother Has ‘Concerns’ About Jury Selection in the Georgia Murder Trial

Suspects in the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery in February 2020 are going to trial. Wanda Cooper-Jones, Ahmaud Arbery’s mother, said, “I have my concerns,” about the jury selection process. She said, “Hopefully we’ll get the right people in the right place to make that decision.” Glynn County court officials mailed jury summons to 1,000 people. The pool will be whittled down to 12 panelists and four alternates.
