Taylor's mom wins the most memorable moment award.
It was a glittering gathering of country music's biggest stars, but a stay-at-home mom from Nashville stole the show.
Just two weeks after Taylor Swift revealed her mother, Andrea is battling cancer, Mama Swift made a heartfelt appearance to honor her superstar daughter with a Milestone Award.
"I am a very proud mom," she said on stage. "I've watched this milestone artist from the time she was a tangle-haired little girl growing up on our farm, full of imagination and creativity."

Andrea even revealed the origins of one of Taylor's first hits, saying, "She was 17 years old and her dad and I strongly disapproved of a certain young man, and rightfully so. She went to her room and she closed the door and she came out about an hour later with a song called "Love Story."
It was a showstopping moment at the fiftieth annual Academy of Country Music Awards outside Dallas.

George Strait performed one of his greatest hits, "All of My Exes Live in Texas."
Miranda Lambert looked amazing, showing off her bod in a sexy, silver gown. She was one of the night's big winners, taking home Song, Album and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara were both decked out in sparkling dresses. The Hot Pursuit co-stars traveled to Dallas on a private jet to introduce Miranda Lambert.
We caught up with Lady Antebellum, who were still reeling from lead singer Hillary Scott's brush with disaster when her bus went up in flames on the way to the awards show.
"She got out of there safe and glad that she made it, that's for sure," said band member Charles Kelley.
Britney Spears's little sister, Jamie Lynn was there, all grown up at 24 and working on a new country album.
The show was held at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T stadium, so the Cowboys' cheerleaders scored invites.
Co-hosting with Miranda's husband, Blake Shelton, was Luke Bryan, who took home the fan-picked award for Entertainer of the Year.
But it was Mama Swift who created the night's most memorable moment by speaking from the heart.
