Sara Sampaio is thrilled to be one of Victoria's Secret's new angels and the 23-year-old shared that she has a brown belt in karate.
INSIDE EDITION caught up with new Victoria’s Secret angel Sara Sampaio.

She said, “It feels surreal. Most of us have known for months but we had to keep it a secret and only two days ago, this became real."
In the whirlwind experience that Sampaio has had, she declared, "It has been crazy the past two days, I haven’t stopped but I am going to let it sink it, like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this is actually happening.’ It is such an honor. There is only a select group of girls that have been put in that category.”

The 23-year-old is from Portugal and has a brown belt in karate and plays the violin.
She said, “When I was five, I did ballet and my brother did karate. When I saw him, I said to my parents, ‘I want to do that!’”
Sampaio stopped karate when she reached the brown belt stage and wanted to do more girly things, it seems to have paid off for her.
