A soldier surprised his mom on Mother's Day while President Obama cold called mothers around the country.
Tears streamed as a mom got a Mother's Day surprise as she watched a video of her son who is stationed in South Korea during half time at a Houston Dynamos soccer game.

Her son, Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Entz, snuck up behind her and she screamed with joy!

The president also surprised mom’s around the country. He took time out of his busy schedule to call three unsuspecting mom's for Mother's Day.

He said, “I decided on Mother's Day I would call up three letter writers and say ‘Thank You’ for being great moms.”
And celebrities are taking to social media to celebrate their mothers.
Justin Timberlake Instagrammed a photo with his mom and grandmother with the caption, "My mom and her mom!! #happymothersday to all of the mommies out there!!"
Kim Kardashian posted a photo with her daughter North and mom Kris Jenner and captioned it, "Everything I am I owe it all to you mom!"
Beyonce posted an image. On the left that's a young Beyonce with her mother, Tina, and on the right, she's all grown up with her three year old daughter Blue Ivy.
And Reese Witherspoon led the cast of Saturday Night Live in a series of Mother's Day apologies!
One was “Mom I’m sorry that I told you I was going to sleep over a friend’s house then checked into a hotel with a boy, then, I came home. Do you forgive me?”
