Sarah Palin is throwing her opinion into the Duggar family drama and is criticizing the media about 'obvious double standards.'
Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is stepping into the Duggar firestorm, criticizing what she calls “obvious double standards" in how the media is treating the conservative faith-based Duggar family when compared to Girls star Lena Dunham.

Dunham wrote in her memoir that when she was seven years old "curiosity got the best of me" and she examined her then year-old sister in an inappropriate way.
While stressing that she is not defending Josh Duggar's behavior, Sarah Palin wrote on Facebook: "The media suggest Lena Dunham's sexual assault on her sibling is cute, and she's rewarded for it with fame and fortune. Meanwhile, they crucify another, along with an entire family."

Daughter Bristol Palin weighed in too, writing on her blog, "I can't believe how crazy the media is going over the Duggar family compared to the big fat yawn they gave Lena Dunham."
Dunham could not be reached on Friday.
