'Cop of the Year' Eric Casebolt has resigned after video of him pinning a teen at a Texas pool went viral and his Chief is saying he was 'Out of Control.'
The police officer under fire for taking down a bikini-clad teenager at a pool party in McKinney, Texas, has resigned just days after a video of his actions went viral.

The McKinney Police Chief denounced Corporal Eric Casebolt's behavior.
Police Chief Greg Conley said, “The actions of Casebolt, as seen on the video, and the disturbance at the community pool are indefensible. Our policies and training do not support his actions. He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows, was out of control during the incident.”
But Sean Hannity revealed on his show last night he thinks the cop was justified in his actions.
Hannity said, “These two guys come up, right behind the cop, he sees them and he doesn't know what threat exists or doesn't. I think, in that case, because it's so volatile, he felt threatened and I understand why he felt threatened.”
Fireworks erupted when the father of a girl at the pool party appeared on the show.
He said, “I don't know what regulation of any force would allow you to pull your weapon out on unarmed children! That's a child!”
Hannity replied, “and how does he know that they're unarmed?”
Even White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest weighed in on the incident, saying, “Violent images and videos of interactions between law enforcement officials and the people they are intended to serve "have a detrimental impact" on that relationship.”
So who is Eric Casebolt? He's a ten-year veteran of the McKinney Police Department and was named “Officer of the Year” in 2008. Prior to joining the police force, he served ten years in the Navy. According to his LinkedIn profile, which has now been taken down, he's experienced in martial arts.
