After a mom got rid of a snake her in her family's home by grabbing it with garden gloves, her husband is laughing about the incident.
Tom Naughton and his family had just returned from a week-long cruise ship vacation only to find a snake had taken up residence in his daughter's bedroom.
He told INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent, "I was laughing as I was filming."
Unlike most dads, Tom immediately realized the comic potential. And why not? He's a comedian! He even made a funny documentary Fat Head, which spoofed our eating habits.

So when crisis hit, what did he do? He grabbed his camera and he cracked up as his wife and daughter screamed.
He said, "I couldn't help it. It was just cracking me up!"
It took mom a few tries to snag the snake.
She said, "I was willing to try and grab that snake but once I felt that sensation, it was very disconcerting and that is when the screams happened. I am not normally a screamer."
Their daughter even questioned her mother in the midst of the chaos, saying, “Actually, I don’t think it's a corn snake.”
Tom’s wife said, “I really don't care would you open the friggin’ door!”

INSIDE EDITION's Les Trent asked their daughter, "This is your bedroom, were you actually freaked out when you saw a snake in there?"
She said, "Actually, no. Good thing it was behind my sister's bed."
Mom then replied, "It was ridiculous. The whole situation was totally absurd."
