NBC will no longer air the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants following Donald Trump's recent remarks about Mexican immigrants.
A stunning blow for Donald Trump as NBC has just announced they are cutting ties with the presidential hopeful because of those bombshell comments about Mexican immigrants.
NBC said in a statement: “Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBC is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump.”
The network will no longer air the Miss USA or Miss Universe pageants. His show, Celebrity Apprentice, will still be on the network but he will not participate in it.
The network continued to say in their statement: “The annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, which are part of a joint venture between NBC and Trump, will no longer air on NBC. In addition, as Mr. Trump has already indicated, he will not be participating in Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. Celebrity Apprentice is licensed from Mark Burnett's United Artists Media Group and that relationship will continue.”
The mogul reacted to the news while campaigning in Chicago on Monday. He said that he broke off the relationship with NBC, "As far as ending the relationship, I have to do that because my view on immigration is much different than the people at NBC."
The Miss USA pageant was scheduled to air in just two weeks on July 12. It's unclear what now will happen to the popular broadcast.
The mogul has refused to apologize for calling Mexican immigrants killers and rapists. Instead he added fuel to the fire going to war with Univision, the Spanish language network, and called for a boycott!

He posted a handwritten letter from Univision anchor Jorge Ramos "begging" for an interview and it had Ramos’ cellphone number on it.
Over the weekend on CNN, the billionaire was questioned about last week's historic Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriages. He says he supports of traditional marriage.
Jake Tapper asked, "What do you say to a lesbian who's married, or a gay man who is married, who says, 'Donald Trump, what's traditional about being married three times?'"
Trump replied, "They would have a very good point. I really don't say anything. I am just, Jake, I'm for traditional marriage."
