Comic-Con drew in big names but none bigger than Harrison Ford who attended the 'Star Wars' panel to showcase new footage of the upcoming film.
It was as good as it gets for Comic-Con fans when they got a surprise appearance by Han Solo himself -- Harrison Ford.

It was the movie icon's first public appearance since crashing his vintage plane in southern California last March.

He joined the other Star Wars original cast members, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel.
They treated fans to some behind the scenes footage of the next Star Wars movie out in December.
The convention in San Diego draws 130,000 fans. Many attend with the whole family and they love to dress up like their favorite characters from movies, TV and comic books.
Jennifer Lawrence and her Hunger Games costars hosted a panel treating fans to the new trailer and teaser for the franchise's final film.
Ben Affleck was also on board at Comic-Con and made his first public appearance since it was announced he and Jennifer Garner are divorcing. Affleck showcased the trailer for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, where he plays the Dark Knight.
The actor also confirmed he is going to write and direct his own Batman film where he will continue star as the hero.
