Goldberg had been one of the few, remaining celebrities who continued to publicly support the embattled comic.

She invited ABC's chief legal analyst Dan Abrams on The View to help her understand the Cosby case.
“I never heard of...you got a serial rapist, he's been on the streets for 30 years…I have to say, I thought, here's all the information take his ass to jail. I find out from you that that's not possible,” said Goldberg.

She told Abrams she didn't know the statute of limitations on most of the cases had run out."I think Whoopi's position was that this should be addressed in court, and not in the court of public opinion. an yet I explained to her, it's very unlikely that this is going to make it into court," Abrams told INSIDE EDITION. "I think that had a big impact on her."

“So I can't say any more, ‘innocent until proven guilty’ because there is no way to prove it,” said Goldberg.

"This is important for the world to know the truth about how Bill Cosby hunted me like a predator," said another woman.

Goldberg had a message for Cosby after supporting him for so long: “It looks bad, Bill. Either speak up, or shut up because people know now that there's a lot more out there than they thought.”
