The 17-year-old daughter of the U.S. ambassador to Thailand plunged more than 20 stories to her death after a night of partying. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
A lot of questions are being asked in the wake of the shocking death of the 17-year-old daughter of the U.S. ambassador to Thailand, Eric John. The teenager plummeted more than 20 stories out the window of a New York City high-rise after a night of hard partying.
Nicole recorded her final drunken binge on Facebook. She posted: "Losing track of the rounds. All in a blur now."
The teenaged party girl had been drinking at Manhattan night club Tenjune and police say Nicole's binge continued at an after hours party.
Police say she was at a drunken party in an apartment on the 25th floor of Herald Towers on 34th street. She is believed to have climbed out onto a ledge to take a photograph, possibly of the Empire State Building, and fell more than 200 feet. Her digital camera was found at her side.
25-year-old Ilan Nassimi, who hosted the party, has been charged with supplying alcohol to a minor.
Nicole was scheduled to begin studies at New York's Parsons School of Design just days after her death.
She also wrote about her drinking and drug use on her blog, melancholysouls.
"My childhood is over but that doesn't mean playtime is," she wrote.
And, "Whaaaaaat a [expletive deleted] EPIC weekend. Intoxication for about 40 hours straight. So [expletive deleted] drunk and it's so [expletive deleted] great."
Just last month she blogged that she partied all night in Washington, D.C.: "went clubbing which was awesome getting VIP treatment up until the part where I'm trying to hail a cab at 3 am really, really drunk and these three people snatch my iPhone."
"For future reference, Xanax and vodka do not mix."
She also boasted of her fake id: "It's really good. It's never been rejected."
