The teenagers, from Merrimack, New Hampshire, have so far managed to snag selfies with 19 of the candidates and have just four left on their list.
They might be too young to vote, but these sisters are spending their summer vacation getting to know all the presidential candidates.
Addy and Emma Nozell, from Merrimack, New Hampshire, are trying to get a selfie with every White House hopeful – and have so far posed with 19 of them. They have only a handful left to meet.

Speaking to INSIDE EDITION, 15-year-old Emma explained that the project started out as a joke.
“My parents got me an iPod for my birthday but they didn’t know it didn’t have a front facing camera,” she said. “It only takes selfies. Because of that I take a lot of selfies.

“After we were leaving a restaurant where Governor Chris Christie had accepted an endorsement, I saw Christie on the sidewalk talking to people. I joked to my mom that I should get a selfie with him and she said go for it.”
The GOP presidential hopeful graciously accepted and people laughed as he posed with the girls.

Emma added: “When we got in the car, my sister said, ‘You know mom and dad are going to be taking us to political events all summer, we should try to get a selfie with all the candidates this summer.’ And that’s how it started.”
The girls say it’s been easy to meet the candidates considering they live in New Hampshire, where the first primary election is held. To make sure they don’t miss a candidate, they keep an eye on upcoming events – which are all free – and then plan trips with their family.
“We’ve met candidates at parades, picnics, barbeques, town halls, and rallies,” Emma said.
And all the candidates have been happy to pose.

“In fact the longer we were doing this, the more the candidates knew about us,” Emma said. “We are going to see Jim Webb this weekend and he’s tweeted that he’s looking forward to meeting us.”
For Addy, the selfie with Martin O’Malley was her favorite. They listened to his talk at a restaurant before he came over to their family’s table and started making jokes.

“When we asked him for a selfie, he was excited to do it and said, ‘A selfie? Yeah, let’s do it!’ He was the most comfortable at taking selfies,” she said.

For Emma, it was Hillary Clinton.
“We have been following her campaign since we were little,” she said. “Her staff took us to a private area after the event where we got to talk to her, explain our project and get the selfie and some family pictures. She knew we were the selfie girls. It was so exciting.”

The photo with Scott Walker was much harder to get.
“We didn’t get inside the restaurant and we weren’t sure it was going to happen,” Addy said. “We just happened to be standing right where he walked by and Emma went up to him before he even spoke and asked for the selfie.
"At first he said ‘later’ but when he saw the camera was ready he said ‘yes.’ It’s a good thing we got it then, because after his talk he was surrounded by people and we would have never gotten it.”

Ben Carson was also a challenge.
“He had written an editorial about how he didn’t like selfies,” Emma said. “I went up to him, explained that my sister and I were doing a project where we were taking selfies with all the candidates and then I asked him if I could take one and he said ‘if you can get it.’ He was standing on a riser and was taller than I am, but I got it. I was very proud of that one.”

Rick Perry’s photo wasn’t quite so successful though.
“He’s looking at the press cameras instead of our camera,” Emma said.

Next up is Democrat Jim Webb, who they’re hoping to meet on Saturday. That leaves Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee.
Despite their interest in the candidates, the girls will not be old enough to vote in the primary. Addy, who is 17, will be able to vote in the general election.

The girls gave INSIDE EDITION some tips for snagging selfies.
“Listen to the candidates when they talk,” Addy said. “Try to make eye contact and let them know that you are paying attention.”
Emma added: “We’ve gotten selfies before events and after them. Sometimes it’s just being in the right place at the right time.”
Other tips include:
“Have your camera ready to take the picture.”
“Dress nicely.”
“Say please and thank you.”
“And smile, smile, smile.”
Addy added: “Don’t ever make a ‘duck face.’ These are presidential candidates, you need to respect that.”
