One man really wanted to bury the hatchet with his father, so he dug up the grave so he could argue with the corpse, police say.
A man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to dig up his father's grave so he could argue with him.
Michael May, 44, was attempting to bury old wounds when he dug up his dad's grave at a cemetery in Sanford, Kentucky, according to WAVE3.

May's father died nearly four decades ago.
Lincoln County Constable Delbert Mitchell said he saw a truck parked outside of Pilot Baptist Church on Monday evening and went into the cemetery to investigate.
He told LEX 18 News: “I went back and hollered for him to step back in the light and he told me to step back to the dark. That's when I went and got my flashlight. He started hollering out [Bible] verses at me."
Police said the man appeared to be intoxicated.

In a jailhouse interview, May told a reporter: “I didn’t do nothing wrong.”
When asked if he felt he had violated a grave, he said: "He needs to be on the ground. Not under it."
He is charged with violating a grave, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.
