A teen has been arrested after he allegedly pointed a laser at a chopper pilot.
Dramatic chopper video shows a teenager allegedly pointing a laser at a police helicopter as it flew above the city of Vaughan in Canada.

According to police, 19-year-old Canadian Armed Forces Reservist Nicholas Caranci was pointing a handgun at the chopper with a laser attached to it.
The teen allegedly took off on foot, hopped a fence, threw the gun away and tried to hide in a nearby wooded area. The pilot directed the officers to the suspect’s location in the woods and he was arrested.
Cops say the pilot then helped direct the officer to what turned out to be a pellet gun.

The York Regional Police posted video of the incident on YouTube.
The suspect was charged with mischief endangering life, unlawfully engaged in behavior that endangers an aircraft and project bright light source in airspace.
He will go to court in September.
