Dr. Phil said that marriages should end only if couples have worked hard to put it back together.
For those caught in the Ashley Madison scandal, do not despair yet - that's the message from Dr. Phil.
Thirty-seven million people across the globe were exposed by the Ashley Madison hackers - leaving marriages in turmoil and lives turned upside down.
Dr. Phil told INSIDE EDITION: “If it ends your marriage, let it end after doing the work necessary to put it back together.”

He went on: “People make mistakes and you can come back from these mistakes. You need to ask yourself - very honestly, ‘What was I doing here? What was I looking for?’ Use it to have an honest discussion with your wife. Marriages do survive infidelity - not all marriages should survive."
It comes as The Jersey Shore’s Snooki is speaking out after her husband's email was reportedly linked to an account on Ashley Madison. But she says her husband Jionni LaValle is no cheat.

“My husband didn't sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat - he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website.
“I love you babe, I know you would never cheat on me. Especially on a lame ass website,” she said.
