British actor Tom Hardy says he would consider playing James Bond.
As Daniel Craig winds down his tenure as James Bond, there has been much speculation about who will be next to play the world's favorite British spy.

Rumors have swirled that Idris Elba could be the next 007, as well as Mad Max: Fury Road actor Tom Hardy.
The English thespian was asked by Sky News in the UK if he would step into the tux and play Bond.
He said: "I think anybody would consider doing Bond, wouldn't they?"

While nothing has been officially confirmed by the studio, MGM, it did announce that Grammy Award-winning singer Sam Smith will perform on the soundtrack for the franchise's upcoming film, SPECTRE, which is out in November.
Smith's song, "Writing's on the Wall," follows Adele's Oscar-winning smash single, "Skyfall."
