She was making reference to a famous Saturday Night Live skit featuring Will Ferrell. With his fellow cast member Norm MacDonald, he stole the show during their Celebrity Jeopardy! parodies.
In one skit, MacDonald, who is dressed as Burt Reynolds, forces Ferrell, who is playing host Alex Trebek, to call him "Turd Ferguson" - simply explaining: "It's a funny name."
During Jeopardy! on Wednesday, Talia Lavin was asked to name the song "from a 1999 animated film about censorship" and came up blank.
Instead she responded: "What is the love ballad of Turd Ferguson?"
Trebek read her answer aloud and the crowd roared with laughter - as did audiences across the country.

Lavin may have lost her prize money and the contest, but she won the hearts of viewers at home.
