A Kentucky woman has been arrested after her boyfriend's body was found inside a freezer in their living room, authorities said.
Teresa Owens, 51, was arrested following the grisly discovery at her Pulaski County home on Tuesday night as deputies executed a search warrant. They went to the home in the rural community of Nancy after Owens' 68-year-old boyfriend, Gary Ray Jenks, was reported missing by his daughter.

According to Owens' arrest report, Jenks' arms were tied with pieces of string, and his body had been covered with lye and fertilizer, in an attempt to dispose of it.
"Lime is sometimes used to reduce the odor from decaying flesh," Deputy Karl Clinard told NBC. "Farmers sometimes put lime on dead cattle to keep the odor down."
The Pulaski County Coroner positively identified the frozen body as Jenks', but a cause of death has not yet been determined. The coroner reportedly said the victim likely died at the start of September.
