A teenager in South Carolina lost his tongue when he sexually assaulted a woman who bit it off after he broke into her house, police said.
Antoine Miller, 16, has been charged with assault, criminal sexual conduct, burglary and kidnapping, according to the North Charleston Police Department. He will be tried as an adult, WCSC-TV reported.

The teen knocked on the woman's door at about 6:30 a.m., and when she answered, he pushed his way in, police said.
The 33-year-old alleged victim said Miller tackled her, punched her several times, and carried her toward a bedroom. When she kicked him in the groin, the woman said, the suspect told her: "Now you have to die."
He stuck his tongue down her throat and that's when she bit down as hard as she could, until she heard a snapping noise, she told police.
Her attacker ran off, screaming, she said, and she spat his tongue onto the floor.

He was arrested late last week after his mother called 911 to report her son was missing most of his tongue, police said.
He is being held without bond. It was not clear whether he has an attorney or if his bitten-off tongue, which was retrieved by officers, has been reattached.
