Mathias Schmidt flew from Denmark to California to surprise his girlfriend, Anna, after months apart.
When Mathias Schmidt flew more than 6,000 miles to surprise his girlfriend, she was baffled to see him standing outside her door.
"What the f*** are you doing here?!" she said, in a priceless moment captured on video.

After her initial shock subsided, 18-year-old Anna embraced her boyfriend.
Speaking to INSIDE EDITION, Mathias explained that he planned the trip about a month before he flew to visit her - and somehow he managed to keep it a secret the whole time.
"It was quite a challenge," he said.
The couple met in high school in Denmark nearly three years ago but Anna moved to Santa Barbara, California to study a few months ago.
"Though we've tried to Facetime as often as possible, it is just never the same as being with her," he wrote on his video.

So he maxed out his credit card and bought the ticket - travelling more than 6,000 miles and for more than 22 hours. When he finally knocked on her door, she was stunned.
He told IE that they got to spend about 10 days together before he had to fly back home.
"We went to San Francisco by train and had a blast!" he said. "We become a couple the 24th of October 2014 so it was nice to be able to spend the 24th of October 2015 with her in San Francisco."
