More than a dozen military weapons are missing from a Massachusetts armory after suspects broke in and went through the building’s roof, officials said.
Weapons including M4 assault rifles, pistols and several long guns were taken from the Lincoln Stoddard Army Reserve Center in Worcester between 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.
The armory’s alarms did not go off as they were disabled due to continuing construction, the Daily Beast reported.

An employee called police to report smoke in the building and said there were signs of a break-in, CBS Boston said.
Authorities do not believe the break-in to be linked to any terrorism threat but Worcester police are increasing patrols “in several key locations,” WCVB reported.
The missing weapons were reportedly entered into a national database and federal, state and local police have been alerted.

Police are looking for a light-skinned man standing between five-foot-seven and five-foot-10 with a stocky build, CBS Boston reported. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a dark colored vest. He was believed to be driving a newer model dark-colored BMW hatchback with dark rims.
Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker said at a press conference that it was too early to comment on the break-in and the investigation was in its early stages.
