A homeless man living on the streets in Denver with his son hands out free food after strangers donate more than $50,000 to him.
James Moss decided to give back after he was floored by the actions of total strangers who donated more than $55,000 to help him get off the street and back on his feet.
So over the weekend, the barber and single father of a one-year-old boy, gave out free food in a downtown Denver park. Helped by a few volunteers, Moss handed out sandwiches Saturday until the food ran out.

Moss, who recently moved from New York to Denver, ended up on the street with his boy, Zhi, after his arrangements for housing fell through.

He wept as he held his son and said he had a job as a barber, but nowhere to sleep. Logothetis, author of “The Kindness Diaries,” has been working to generate goodwill across the world.

On the spot, he told Moss that he was going to give him $1,000 and a week in a hotel.
A GoFundMe page was established. And in little more than 13 days, donations surpassed $55,000. Moss has found a place in a shelter for the time being, he said in a video posted to YouTube. “I love you all,” he said. “Thank you."
