Rudi Efendi, 30, and his 20-year-old wife Nuriah were arrested over the man's killing in Indonesia.
A newlywed couple killed the wife's alleged rapist before they fried up and ate his genitals, according to police.
A police spokeswoman in Lampung, Indonesia said Rudi Efendi, 30, and his 20-year-old wife Nuriah were arrested at their home following a month-long investigation and are in custody, the Associated Press reported.

The victim's body was found in a burned minivan on October 4, spokeswoman Lt. Col. Sulistyaningsih said.
Authorities concluded that the couple, who married in September, had planned to kill him after Efendi found out on their wedding night that his new wife was not a virgin, Sulistyaningsih said. The woman told her husband that she had been raped a week earlier by an ex-boyfriend, according to AFP.
"I was so outraged," Efendi told reporters after his arrest.
Police said Efendi then asked his bride to arrange a meeting with the man, who was a driver for a travel agency. Efendi then allegedly stabbed the man to death and cut off his genitals before setting his vehicle on fire, the Associated Press reported.
Efendi said he took the man's genitals home and ordered his wife to cook them, according to reports. He then ate them "to cure my heartache," he said.

Official charges have not been filed against the couple and the investigation is ongoing, but police said they could be charged with premeditated murder, which carries a death penalty.
"The case is still under investigation but we strongly suspect that this is a premeditated murder," Sulistyaningsih told AFP.
