A new book containing entries from Marilyn Monroe's diary was recently released, and the entries make a surprising revelation...Monroe was afraid for her life! INSIDE EDITION has more.
It's a startling revelation from the grave: screen legend Marilyn Monroe was living in fear of the late actor Peter Lawford.
Lawford's relationship with Monroe has long been shrouded in mystery. He introduced her to his brother-in-law, President John F. Kennedy, and is said to have helped them to carry on an affair.
He was also the last person to speak to Monroe on the phone before she was found dead of a drug overdose in 1962. The book Fragments, which contains her diary entries, includes this passage:
"About being afraid of Peter he might harm me, poison me, etc. why - strange look in his eyes - strange behavior."
Lawford died in 1983. He was best known as part of Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack.
