A daredevil goat who was supposed to be dinner for a Siberian tiger has befriended the big cat instead.
When Timur the goat was dropped into Amur's enclosure at Primorsky Safari Park in Russia, it chased the tiger right out of his own home.

The scaredy-cat, who is fed live prey twice a week, kept his distance and Timur has been sleeping on the cat's bed ever since, banishing Amur to the roof.
"We think that the goat never came across tigers and no-one taught him to be scared of them," a keeper told the Siberian Times. "Amur the tiger is quite cautious by his nature decided not to go to the trouble of hunting Timur."
During the day, Timur follows Amur around the enclosure. Footage shows Amur stretching out on the snow-covered ground as Timur hangs out nearby.

"Tiger Amur knows very well how to hunt goats and rabbits," the keeper said. "But recently he came across a goat that he refused to hunt... It looks like they are friends."
Siberian tigers are endangered. There are about 500 in the world.
