A 3-year-old girl was safe and sound after police issued an Amber Alert when the child's dad abducted her from a home where he stabbed her mom, cops said.
An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for a 3-year-old girl who was abducted by her dad after he repeatedly stabbed the child’s mother in New York City, police said.
The child was found unharmed by New Jersey State Troopers, who pulled over the SUV driven by father Diomedes Valenzuela, according to New York Police. Valenzuela, 51, was taken into custody without incident, authorities said.

The father allegedly stabbed Rebecca’s mother “multiple” times, cops said. She is hospitalized in critical condition, they said.
The incident happened during a domestic dispute at an apartment in the Bronx, police said. The Amber Alert was canceled after about 40 minutes.
