Watch A Lottery-Playing Buddhist Monk Chase A Robber At A Gas Station

Cops are looking for a man who robbed a Buddhist monk at a gas station.

Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance camera stealing from a Buddhist monk as he was buying lottery tickets in a Philadelphia gas station.

Authorities said the 61-year-old monk was purchasing lottery tickets from a machine inside a Sunoco gas station when an unidentified man grabbed his wallet which contained $350 cash, and then ran out the door.

The monk is seen in the video chasing the suspect into the parking lot where a scuffle ensued. Police said the monk suffered a cut to his leg, from being pushed to the ground

Philadelphia police posted the surveillance footage on YouTube in hopes it will lead to an arrest.

Cops are still looking for the suspect who fled the scene during the January 3 incident in dark silver Ford Mustang with a PA tag of JHY-3783.

Detectives say anyone who sees the suspect should call 911 immediately and avoid approaching him.
