An elderly Miami couple was given the gift of a new dog after their previous pooch was killed by two strays.
An elderly couple whose beloved Chihuahua was killed by two dogs has received an incredible gift from a Good Samaritan: a tiny new puppy.

WSVN's cameras captured the emotional moment Miguel Rojas, 89, and his wife, Ada, were handed the eight-week-old pup.
The couple received the gift on Friday, just a day after Gucci, their Chihuahua had passed away.
Ada is still recovering after she was badly injured when two bulldogs attacked. She required over 100 stitches. When Miguel saw his injured wife and pooch, he suffered a heart attack and also needed to be hospitalized.

After their story was shared by local media outlets, a Good Samaritan decided to give them a new puppy to help them begin the healing process.
Ada told WSVN: “We felt Gucci's death very, very big and this dog is going to make us continue to live.”
