Terri Horman has been under a cloud of suspicion ever since the seven-year-old vanished in 2010.
Five years after seven-year-old Kyron Horman mysteriously vanished, his stepmother is breaking her silence about his disappearance.

Terri Horman, a former bodybuilder, has been under a cloud of suspicion ever since June 4, 2010, when she says she dropped Kyron off at his elementary school in Portland, Oregon. She says she first realized he was missing when he didn't come home on the school bus.
“The answer is no, I never harmed my son,” she said in an interview with People magazine. “I’m speaking now because nobody is looking for my son anymore. I want Kyron home. I love my son. There is no past tense. I want him home.”
She admitted she failed a lie-detector test but said it's because she's deaf in one ear and didn't hear the questions properly.
Police have never named Terri, who was married to Kyron's dad Kaine, as a suspect or as a person of interest in the boy’s disappearance.
Reporter Elaine Aradillas, who interviewed Terri, told INSIDE EDITION: "She was ready to speak and tell everyone her side of the story."
Kaine, who divorced Terri, has never stopped searching for his son. He told INSIDE EDITION in 2010: “She has not given us the truth. I think she does know something.”

Kaine said in a statement on Wednesday to INSIDE EDITION: “I am encouraged that Ms. Horman is now willing to make public statements about the events that occurred on June 4, 2010. I hope that Ms. Horman will now cooperate with law enforcement to provide additional information that might lead to the discovery of Kyron.”
Terri says was forced to move away from Oregon because of the suspicion surrounding her but says she only wants to find her missing stepson.
“I would take all this on again, have five years of this, if he was found tomorrow,” she said.
