Two armed suspects ran up to the woman's car at the Tom Thumb service station in Hialeah, Florida, as she was filling up her car.

As surveillance footage shows, one suspect jumped into the driver's seat of her convertible while another apparently knocked on the windows with a weapon.
The 21-year-old woman jumped into action to protect her two kids, who were sitting in the backseat. Footage shows her opening the car door and dragging out the suspect while another suspect runs away.
"She’s able to drag him out of the car while the other one on the other side runs away like a coward," Sgt. Carl Zogby of the Hialeah Police Department told WPLG.

No one was injured in the late-night scuffle.
Following a short chase, two male suspects and one female were stopped by police and arrested. The Hialeah police say they are facing charges of attempted carjacking, fleeing and eluding police.
