New Jersey Governor Chris Christie hit the campaign trail on Monday just hours after the blizzard slammed his home state over the weekend.

"Why are you here in New Hampshire campaigning instead of there, helping survey the damages caused by the flooding in the storm?" asked the woman, who said she had attended school in New Jersey.
"Well, because it's already done," Christie shot back. "It's already done. Tell me why you think it isn’t."
She responded that she'd seen photos showing flooding "all over the state."
"All over the state?" he responded. "Really? There's been one county that’s flooded in the state. That was Cape May County. So I don't know where from all over the state, since we have 21 counties, where that's happened.
"Second, I don’t know what you expect me to do. You want me to go down there with a mop?"

The blizzard dropped more than two feet of snow on parts of the state, and several deaths were reported. Streets and homes were flooded in Jersey Shore neighborhoods and thousands of residences lost power.
At the town hall meeting, Christie added that all roads in the state had been cleared and NJ Transit had returned to normal. He asked the woman for names and contact details of her family members so that he could call them directly to answer any questions they may have.
