Celine Dion fought back tears as she spoke at Caesars Palace and eulogized her husband.
A grief-stricken Celine Dion spoke publically for the first time about her late husband René Angélil, fighting back tears as she remembered him during a memorial at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

“I feel his love in this room. I feel his strength and his warmth being reflected in all of you," the 47-year-old singer said.
She took the stage in an elegant shoulder-baring dress as she spoke to a crowd of 4,000.
“This is my home away from home. At the same time I’m supposed to feel extremely comfortable being home and right now I’m not sure how comfortable I feel,” she said.
She opened up about her 21-year marriage to the love of her life. Angélil died last month at 73 after a long battle with throat cancer.

“He protected me from day one (and) for the rest of my life, I am pretty sure of that,” she said.
Dion was joined on stage by her 15-year-old son, René-Charles, and her step-children.
She ended her eulogy with: “René, the love of my life. René, I love you, so much, merci, good night.”
