A British student at posh Eton College spared jail in child porn case that involved children being raped and abused.
A "privileged" Eton College student who bragged of having a treasure chest of child abuse images has been spared jail time by a judge who said prison would "undo" his psychological treatment.
Andrew Picard was 17 when was nabbed sending graphic child sex photos and films via Skype to an undercover police officer, authorities said.
His chatroom account was traced to the boarding school favored by the royal family, near Windsor. He was arrested for distributing the horrific images January and February 2015, Britan's The Telegraph reported.
Some of the videos included the sexual abuse of children and toddlers.
Now 18, Picard admitted to one count of possessing indecent pictures of children, one count of making indecent pictures of children and eight counts of distributing indecent photos or recordings of a child, the paper reported.
Police found more than 1,000 child pornographic images on his computer and hard drives in his dorm room, prosecutors said.

"This defendant Andrew Picard was a privileged young man. His family are clearly wealthy enough to send him to school in Eton," Judge Peter Ross said Thursday.
But he added that jail time would "undo" progress Picard made while undergoing a year of extensive mental treatment.
Picard was handed a 10-month sentence, suspended for 18 months, while he continues psychological counseling. He was ordered to pay court costs.
