Boyega stayed in character as Finn throughout his trip to the Royal London Hospital.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor John Boyega brought smiles to the faces of kids when he turned up as his character Finn at a London’s children’s hospital.

Boyega, who stayed in character the whole time at Royal London Hospital, posted about his experience on Instagram:
He said he met a boy named Daniel, who was in the hospital with a brain tumor. Boyega said that the child was a big fan of the film and wanted “Finn” to meet other kids and teach them the ways of the force.

The 23-year-old showed the children how to use a lightsaber and learned about what life is like on Earth.
Boyega even took to Twitter to thank the child for the experience.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives on DVD next month. It was released to theaters in December, making it one of the highest grossing films of all time, taking in $2 billion worldwide. It is the third highest-grossing film of all time, behind James Cameron’s Titanic and Avatar.
