During a visit to the White House on Monday, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda freestyled with the help of President Obama.

Obama held up cue cards in the Rose Garden as Miranda freestyled using the words on display.
In a video posted on The White House’s Facebook page, Obama ordered a soldier to “drop the beat” as the mastermind of Broadway’s latest sensation took the mic.
Miranda was shown a series of political buzzwords like Obamacare, Oval Office and POTUS.
“He’s throwing up some words, I’m getting to say some freestyling that you never heard,” Miranda rapped. “Constitution, the POTUS, I’m freestyling, you know this.”
Obama was clearly impressed with the lyricist and quipped: “That is going viral!”
Miranda and the cast of Hamilton spent their day off on Monday in the nation’s capital. The whole cast performed inside The White House.

They were introduced by the first lady on Monday afternoon.
Hamilton, the blockbuster musical, is the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The show, which debuted on the Great White Way last summer, has earned critical and financial success and even won a Grammy last month.
