Comedian Amy Schumer has a bone to pick with Glamour magazine.
"Not glamourous" is what Amy Schumer is calling Glamour magazine's decision to include her in a plus-size issue this month.
While the comedian's name is listed on a recent cover along with the likes of luminaries Melissa McCarthy, Adele and Ashley Graham, Schumer is non-too-pleased with the article.
"@glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me," Schumer wrote on Instagram Tuesday.
Schumer said she's displeased because she doesn't believe she's plus-sized in the first place.

"I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8," she wrote.
"Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous."
After Schumer's post, Glamour's editor-in-chief Cindi Leive responded on Twitter.

"Her 2015 cover story was included in the edition, aimed at sizes 12 and up, with the coverline 'Women who Inspire Us' bc her longtime message of body positivity—& talking back to body haters—IS inspiring. (To me, too!)," she wrote.
"To be clear, size 6-8 is not plus. (Even size 12—frequent size of 'plus' models—is smaller than average American woman!) But women of all sizes can be inspired by one another’s words. So sorry if implication was otherwise, Amy."
Schumer has spoken out about body image before, including during an emotional sit down with Maria Shriver in October.
"It's been a struggle for me my whole life, and especially just being in the entertainment industry. Standing on a stage in front of people, I can't perform my best or be confident if I'm not sure — if I'm pulling at something [I'm wearing].

"And sometimes I would just want to throw in the towel and be like, 'I'm not gonna go do standup tonight.'"
Then, in November, Schumer flaunted her atypical Hollywood curves in a photoshoot with photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The black and white portrait puts Schumer on a stool while wearing nothing but her underwear and a pair of heels.
"Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman. Thank you Annie Leibovitz!" Schumer wrote with the photo on her Instagram.
