ChaCha bared his teeth as rescuers tried to catch him.
ChaCha became the most famous chimpanzee in the world when he made his way out of the Yagiyama Zoological Park in Japan and wreaked havoc for two full hours in the city of Sendai.

ChaCha made his way to a residential neighborhood and scaled powerlines. He also yawned - revealing his sharp teeth - which is a sign of aggression for the animal.
The ordeal came to an end when authorities in a cherry picker fired a tranquilizer dart, hitting the 24-year-old primate in the back.
ChaCha lunged at the cherry picker and then pulled out the dart. As the tranquilizer took effect, the chimp would not give up.
He lets loose a furious howl at the people below and then fell. Workers below tried to catch the chimp in a tarp but failed. He struck a powerline on the way down and crashed through the tarp - but thankfully, he was not injured.

Animal expert Jack Hanna told IE that the rescuer in the cherry picker is very lucky.
“If that chimpanzee went in that bucket, he would have taken that guy into 15 pieces,” he said. “When you have a chimpanzee loose like that, that is code to run. You have an animal that can out-think you.”
Zoo officials are still unclear how ChaCha escaped.
