Sarah Palin is under fire for her hunting and fishing exploits on her reality TV show, with one person saying it was "heart-stoppingly disgusting." INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Shots heard 'round the world! Sarah Palin ignites a firestorm of controversy when she shoots a caribou on her TV show, Sarah Palin's Alaska.
Reknowned Hollywood screenwriter Aaron Sorkin rips into Palin with a scorching column in today's Huffington Post, calling it: "heart-stoppingly disgusting"
Palin says she hunted the animal to obtain healthy organic food. But Sorkin, who wrote the hit movie The Social Network, says, "You weren't killing that animal for food or shelter or even fashion, you were killing it for fun. You enjoy killing animals."
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd also goes after Palin, writing, "The poor caribou in the arctic circle, a cousin to Santa's reindeer, had to die so Palin could show off her toughness to voters and try to boost ratings on her show."
But Palin isn't backing down, tweeting: "Unless you've never worn leather shoes, sat upon a leather couch or eaten a piece of meat, save your condemnation...I remain proudly intolerant of anti-hunting hypocrisy."
