Nyle and his partner are revealing some of their secrets.
'Dancing With the Stars' semi-finalist Nyle DiMarco, who is deaf, has revealed how he is able to move to the beat without being able to hear it.
He memorizes the timing of partner Peta Murgatroyd's moves. And if he's too slow, "I give him a good scratch on the back," Murgatroyd tells INSIDE EDITION.

She also squeezes his hand to signal when he has to move, she said.
DiMarco, who won 'America's Next Top Model' last year and was the show's first deaf contestant, said he had never danced until he started training for the series.
"In the beginning, I was definitely scared," he said, using sign language. "I didn't want to be off time and mess up the dance and people would assume deaf people can't dance."
He is one of 25 people deaf people in his family, he said. But the genetic condition has never left him feeling less than equal to his hearing counterparts.
"I am very happy the way I am," he said.

A number of female fans think so, too, apparently.
"Well, a lot of people have proposed to me on social media," he said.
