Wild Wild West: Windows Smashed, Debris in the Streets After Kanye Cancels Pop-Up Concert

Kanye West was reportedly set to perform at 2 a.m. inside New York City's Webster Hall but the concert was canceled at the last minute.

It was “bedlam” in the streets on Manhattan’s Lower East Side after Kanye West canceled a pop-up concert early Monday morning.

Kanye West was reportedly set to perform at 2 a.m. inside New York City’s Webster Hall but the concert was canceled at the last minute.

Neighbors of the venue woke up to dented cars, debris in the streets and their windshields shattered after fans rioted in protest to the cancellation of the concert.

West tweeted that the show was sold-out, but fans continued to line up around the block to get in.

One fan tweeted: The scene at Kanye's Webster Hall show is a full blown riot, complete with pepper spray. So wild!

At 1:45 a.m., the venue tweeted that there would be no late night concert.

West did greet fans when he drove down 3rd Avenue near the club, and hung out of his sunroof to greet the crowd.

When the “Famous” rapper and his wife, Kim Kardashian, returned to their hotel room, they apologized to fans for canceling the concert.

There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely.

The show, which was a make-up performance after the “Power” rapper was supposed to perform Sunday night at the Governors Ball music festival, but the concert was scrapped due to inclement weather in the New York area.

West did make an appearance in New Jersey at the annual Summer Jam music festival and then word got out a tiny club concert would happen in the early hours of Monday morning.
