Jabari Parker, a forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, tweeted a response former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh's message that told Obama to "watch out."
An NBA star has inserted himself into the controversy over a tweet written by a former Illinois congressman that some viewed as a veiled threat to President Obama.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker tweeted a response to a tweet written by ex-Republican Rep. Joe Walsh Friday.

"@WalshFreedom You ain't landing a single finger on @BarackObama. No body is. Chicago and myself going to make sure of that," Parker said.
In his tweet, which was also taken down, the former congressman made a bombastic statement in the wake of the Dallas sniper killings of multiple police officers.
"3 Dallas Cops Killed, 7 wounded. This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks. Real America is coming for you," wrote Walsh, who served one term and now hosts a syndicated talk radio show.
After taking down his tweet, Walsh clarified his controversial remarks.
"I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words & BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops," he wrote,

Parker, a Chicago native, also backtracked after his initial tweet appeared, to some, to condone violence.
