Winter Haven, Florida police say 30-year-old Michael Stevenson stabbed a man in the back over the tiny debt.
A man was arrested in Florida after allaegedly stabbing someone, reportedly over a $2 debt.
Winter Haven Police say 30-year-old Michael Stevenson was walking on a sidewalk early Friday evening when he approached Odell Kindricks Jr.
Stevenson told him that he wanted his $2 back that was owed. When Kindricks refuted the supposed debt, Stevenson stabbed Kindricks in the upper back and ran away, according to a statement from the Winter Haven PD.

Kindricks initially hit the ground before getting back up and managing to make it home as a witness to the alleged encounter called 911.
Due to the severity of his injuries, Kindricks was airlifted to Lakeland Regional Health where he was listed in critical condition. His condition was later updated to stable.
Authorities were unable to locate the suspect during an initial search. After interviews with multiple witnesses who were in the area as well as interviews with the victim, Stevenson was identified as the suspect.

Police obtained an arrest warrant and picked up Stevenson at his home.
