A photo of Victoria Beckham kissing her daughter on the lips is causing a divisive debate across the world.

Beckham posted the photo, which shows her kissing Harper Seven on the lips in celebration of the girl’s 5th birthday, three days ago.
Horrified by the smooch, some have lashed out at the fashion designer on social media, calling her actions "gross,” "disgusting" and "weird."
Even the folks at the Today show were divided Wednesday morning.
Matt Lauer said: “I do not kiss my kids on the lips.”
But Carson Daly said: “I kiss ‘em right on the lips, and love every second of it too.”
Moms across the nation are having their say, rallying to Beckham’s defense by posting their own photos kissing their kids on the lips.

“Nothing wrong with kissing your children on the lips,” wrote one mom.
“I will always kiss my daughter on the lips no matter how old she is,” said another.

One person wrote on Beckham’s Instagram page: “I love this picture, it is beautiful In every way X I'm appalled that anyone could think otherwise.”
