A group of California teens allegedly stole a tractor before using it to smash a hole in the side of a school building — just to steal a bunch of soda.
Fresno PD responded to an alarm from the Central Unified School District late Sunday, where they say officers witnessed three teens running from the scene.
In the side of one of the portable buildings that make up the district office was an 8-foot by 8-foot hole, authorities said.

Fresno police told reporters that all three boys, aged 15 to 17, were runaways from a local group home. They were apprehended near the scene.
A spokeswoman from the Central Unified School District told InsideEdition.com that they believe about $4,000 worth of damage was done to the wall and an office inside the portable building.
All that, the official said, for the kids to enter the hole in the building to allegedly make off with just $40 worth of soda and electronics.
The boys were taken to Fresno County Juvenile Hall on charges that include commercial burglary and felony vandalism, the Fresno PD said in a statement.

The district spokeswoman said it is not yet clear if the suspects are students in the district, which serves an agricultural and suburban swath of Fresno County.
In a statement, the district told Inside Edition on Tuesday:
"Central Unified is grateful for the Fresno Police Department’s prompt response to the burglary alarm and apprehension of the three juveniles responsible for vandalizing the District office.
"We appreciate our relationship with the local law enforcement as well as our employees who continued to work and serve the Central community tirelessly and without interruption."
