Sealing the Nomination With a Kiss: The Awkward Moment Trump Tried to Smooch Running Mate

Adding to the RNC convention chaos of technical glitches and Ted Cruz’s divisive speech was the bizarre moment Donald Trump air kissed vice presidential nominee Mike Pence Wednesday night.

Things got awkward quickly in Cleveland as Trump puckered up for his running mate after Pence made his formal VP nomination acceptance speech. 

The two men shook hands and Trump patted Pence on the back, then the real estate tycoon attempted to give the Indiana governor a kiss on the forehead while his running mate appeared to pull back.
