Jimmy Kimmel Asks Hillary Clinton to Open Pickle Jar to Prove She's Healthy Enough for Office

She asked the host to check her pulse.

As allegations swirl about whether Hillary Clinton is healthy enough to be commander-in-chief, she faced late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel, who flat-out asked her if she was "fit" for office.

Following allegations by Donald Trump and his supporters about her health, Kimmel inquired: “Are you in good health?”

The former secretary of state put out her arm and asked the host to check her pulse. He then joked: "Oh my God, there is nothing there!"

Amid laughter from the audience, he then asked her to show her strength by opening a jar of pickles.

Clinton obliged and offered a comment to those who suggest her health is a matter of concern.

“Back in October, the National Enquirer said I'd be dead in six months. So with every breath I take I feel like it's a new lease on life. I do feel sometimes like this campaign has entered into an alternative universe,” she said. “I don't know why they are saying this. I think on the one hand it's part of the wacky strategy."

Clinton's Republican rival Donald Trump says she lacks the "strength and stamina" needed to be president. He has also called her "unhinged."

Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani raised eyebrows on Fox News Sunday with a remark about Clinton's health.

“Go online and put down 'Hillary Clinton illness,' take a look at the videos for yourself," he urged viewers.

In one video, conspiracy theorists claim is Clinton suffering a seizure. But witnesses say she was only joking with reporters.

In another video from the time she was secretary of state, Clinton is seen falling as the video claims it was caused by neurological problems. The Clinton campaign calls the videos "deranged" thinking.

Hillary's doctor says she is in "excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States."

The New York Times pointed out Tuesday that both candidates have released few details about their health, a matter of concern to some given their ages.

If elected in November, Trump, 70, would be the oldest president ever. The current record is held by Ronald Reagan, who was 69 when he was sworn in. Clinton, at 68, is not far behind.

Clinton was in Los Angeles Monday night campaigning. She also attended a dinner hosted by Magic and Cookie Johnson, Denzel and Pauletta Washington and Samuel L. and Latanya Jackson at the former NBA star's mansion.
