The three boys were hit with a slew of charges, including attempted rape, attempted sex abuse and unlawful imprisonment.
Three middle schoolers were arrested for allegedly trying to rape a 12-year-old girl at their Brooklyn school, officials said.
The boys—two 12-year-olds and one 14-year-old—allegedly pulled down the victim’s pants and forcibly touched her in a basement stairwell at Mott Hall No. 4 Middle School in Brownsville at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
School officials notified police of the incident.

The three boys were charged as juveniles with attempted rape, attempted sex abuse, attempted criminal sexual act, robbery, grand larceny and unlawful imprisonment.
They were remanded to Brooklyn Family Court, authorities said.
This may have been the second attack the girl suffered, as the oldest boy’s mother allegedly said he had done the same thing to the same girl on September 30, according to the New York Daily News.

The 14-year-old allegedly admitted to both attacks and said one of the other boys was also involved in the earlier alleged attack, sources told The News.
Police could not confirm to InsideEdition.com if the boys were involved in such a previous attack.
