Police said the girl's death may have not been intentional, but there was evidence of neglect.
The mom and step-grandfather of a two-year-old little girl were arrested in connection with her death on Monday.
20-year-old Cheyenne Cobb and Cobb's stepfather, 47-year-old Jon Palechek, have been charged with felony child abuse causing death.

When police arrived at the Cobb house, the child was found dead in the home, Sgt. Kevin Goltara told InsideEdition.com
Goltara said the house was in hoarder-like conditions and that the little girl had been confined to her crib. She died from strangulation as a result of being in the crib, police said.
During the initial investigation, detectives reportedly found significant evidence that showed neglect and abuse against the child that they believe contributed to her death.
The child’s father, who goes by the name June on Facebook, told InsideEdition.com that he didn’t know anything like this was going on.
“Every time I talk to my daughter and her mom she always seemed happy all the time, so no. [I] didn't know,” he said.
Police said the two suspects are inconsolable.

"They are obviously very distraught," Sgt. Goltara told ABC7. "But ultimately we believe the neglect at the residence itself is what contributed to the child's death. We don't believe it to be an intentional act."
